South Pasadena Library Engagement Session | S + E

This engagement session was an adventure as far as Southern California weather goes. After some back-and-forth rescheduling due to rain in the forecast, we landed on a date with only a small chance of rain. Well, it was definitely sprinkling when I arrived early to scope out the location! It did let up while we did the shoot, but the clouds remained out and dreary.

Until I drove away.

Two minutes later they text me a photo and said “sun finally came out.” I immediately called and said “I’M PULLING A U-TURN, BE THERE SOON!” We got the slightest sliver of sunlight poking from behind the houses and trees for about 2 more portraits before losing it again, but it was so worth it!
