Quail Ranch, Simi Valley Wedding | Lauren + Scott

Lauren and Scott work in graphic design, and it certainly shows in the little details of their day! They designed their own invitation stationery and even got it all screen printed (I absolutely love this!).

It was a hot November day in Simi Valley. Maybe a tad too hot during the day, but it stayed nice and warm for their outdoor reception in the evening. The whole day turned out to be so lovely, full of incredibly kind people.

A week or two prior to the wedding, Lauren reached out asking if it was feasible to take some portraits with her dad’s vintage Porsche… The answer was a resounding “Yes PLEASE!” Vintage cars are my favorite wedding day photo accessory. They are such a classy way to upscale the entire wedding day.

Quail Ranch is such a gorgeous venue! One reason the couple chose it is because it’s a smaller venue that hosts all the events close to each other. Meaning the guests didn’t have to walk far from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. I also love these sorts of all-in-one venues as the lack of travel time means more time for photos (or even relaxed downtime!).
