Timeless & classic with a modern twist of little posing and real emotion.
Artistic imagery, such as photography and film, is all about capturing & conveying emotion, and what's a more emotional day than your wedding day? It's a day that you'll want to share with friends and family who couldn't be there; that you'll view to relive the moments on each anniversary (or on those hard days when you need a reminder that you really do love each other); that you'll show your children and/or grandchildren someday when they ask what your wedding was like.
I strive to create for the future. So that the next family generations have images and footage of you not with a puppy dog filter on your face. So they can see what these days were really like, what YOU were really like, in 2019. No oompa loompa skin, no awkward poses (unless this is your goal, I’m into it). Just you.
How I Work
I’m often one of two places on a wedding day—unseen as I’m off capturing details, or by your side calming you down when it’s starting to feel really real. My goal is to not only make your memories tangible, but to also be your cheerleader and your extra personal attendant.
My Ideal Couple
My ideal couple is a couple I click with… that’s all! I don’t care if your wedding venue is a church basement or if your dress is from Forever 21. If you two love each other and want to celebrate that love with God’s gift of marriage, I’d love to document it for you!

We’ll set up a date, whether for coffee, a drink, or Facetime, to get to know each other a bit and talk details.
Contract signed, retainer paid, and you are on my calendar! We’ll stay in touch a bit leading up to the wedding, basically becoming best friends tbh.
You’ll get a sneak peek of your photos/film shortly after the wedding, and the finished product will be emailed to you within a month or so!
Frequently Asked Questions
Help! I’m fashion-challenged. What are we supposed to wear for our portraits?
Try taking a look at this post of mine! The key idea is to coordinate with each other, not match. You also want to think about the entire color scheme of the shoot, including the colors of the location. This is 100% something I can guide you through entirely, especially as I’ve done a little work in fashion before!
Do you offer full-day documentary film edits?
At this time this is not something I offer in my packages. Every videography package comes with a trailer (usually posted online within days of the wedding), as well as a 5-7min highlights film. Optional add-ons such as the full edited ceremony and full toasts are available.
Do you charge sales tax?
Per California state laws, sales tax must be charged for CA residents on packages that include any tangible items, even including a USB drive. This tax rate goes by the address you will be residing at when I send the final products and is not included in the package price.
What if something happens to you and you can’t shoot our wedding?
If something happens to me and I cannot shoot your event/session, I will either find a suitable replacement or refund all money paid. I also select my 2nd shooters as people who can take over in an emergency, so if something happens to me during your wedding, they are readily available to step in.
Do you travel?
I can absolutely travel! This is, of course, very case-by-case, but I am willing to travel anywhere in the world. No travel charges are added for weddings and sessions in LA. Other areas in Southern California may require a mileage charge. Any other locations will consist of flights, accommodations, and car rentals (Southern MN locations may have discounted travel as my family and my in-laws live in the area!).
